Antonio Garcia took over the farm Vale do Sol from his father. Antonio is an agricultural engineer and researcher in coffee fertility. Their son, Andre Luiz, following in the same footsteps, specialises in pruning and production. This combination gives a huge family knowledge of coffee production. The family is adapting practices to reduce the use of agrochemicals, alongside testing new disease resistant crops. The profile of this coffee is immediately apparent on the nose: an aroma of nougat and blackberries. These notes follow into the cup, giving a subtle acidity and vevelty mouthfeel, balanced with the sweetness of Saturn peaches.
