Everyone gets excited about the arrival of Ethiopian coffees, and we are particularly excited about this farm lot from Mustefa Abakeno. Changes to regulations in Ethiopia, alongside Mustefa's recent exporter status, means he can sell directly to buyers, avoiding the auction system. This allows the supply chain to become more efficient, maximising the money that goes back to him and the other smallholder producers he works with. We could drink this coffee all day long, perfect for filter, be it hot or iced. Sweet apricot and peach notes are complemented with a bright citrus acidity. This is followed by lingering floral notes of honeysuckle and jasmine to finish the cup.
