PROCESSING

This lot was processed using a traditional washed technique. Cherry is pulped, before being fermented in tanks. The coffee is fully washed before being dried on raised African drying beds.

TRACEABILITY

Sourced through Osito Coffee, who aim to build transparent, long-term relationships. In Burundi, Osito partners with the Long Miles Project. Created in 2013, Long Miles aims to create traceable micro-lots while improving the livelihoods of the small-holding farmers they work with. They now work with 5,500 coffee-farming families across eleven unique hills in Burundi.
