The Bagel Project Blend
story
The blend combines three coffees that showcase our commitment to traceable sourcing and long-term producer partnerships. In Ethiopia, Mensur Aba Hika farms 18 hectares in Jimma and is a member of the Tokuma Farmer Group. In Colombia’s Huila region, smallholder farmers cultivate around two hectares of land, working alongside Cofinet to improve quality and increase premiums for their coffee. From Brazil's Cerrado region, Elisabete Martins and her family run Fazenda Cachoeira, sourced through Bossa, a female-led importer focused on supporting female coffee producers.
PROCESSING
Natural coffees are dried as whole cherries on raised beds or patios. Washed coffees are first pulped, before being fermented in tanks, then fully washed before being dried on raised African drying beds.
TRACEABILITY
Sourced through our long-term import partners Bossa, Cofinet, and Osito, who connect us with the specialty producers they work alongside. Co-sourced in collaboration with The Bagel Project.
Price Paid for Green Coffee (ex. shipping): Elisabete Martins - £7.96/kg; Mensur Jemal - £8.70/kg; Huila Reserve - £8.20/kg
