Banka farm and washing station, established and developed by Mr. Hu over 20 years, sits at 1350 masl in the southwest of Yunnan Province, China. As an early pioneer of large-scale coffee production in the region, Mr. Hu’s efforts transitioned in 2018 when Yunnan Coffee Traders (YCT) took over management of the wet mill and 100 hectares of the farm. Yunnan is responsible for over 97% of China's entire coffee production and over half of this is concentrated in the Pu'er region, famous for it's centuries of tradition in tea production.
