Cristo Liurai

The Cristo Liurai Cooperative consists of fifteen farmers, all farming between 1500 and 1600masl. The group is led by Luis Santos de Jesus. The cooperative began working with Karst Organics during the 2020 harvest. Karst Organics continue to offer support and training to the community through workshops.

Sourced through Karst Organics, who solely work in Timor-Leste. Karst Organics are tightly integrated with the communities they source from, spending six months of the year at origin. Karst Organics operate with full transparency and traceability. This is the fourth year they have worked with the Cristo Liurai Cooperative and our third year buying coffee from this farmer group.
