Huipil
Mexico
Dried Apricot / Tangerine / Chocolate
story
This coffee is named after the traditional Oaxacan garment, the huipil, which means blouse or embellished dress in Nahuatl. La Mazateca, in northern Oaxaca, is home to small-scale producers with about 1 hectare of land, growing coffee among shade trees and other crops. Though not certified, their minimal-intervention approach makes this coffee fully organic. The El Huipil lot is a blend of nanolots from nearby smallholders in the area.
