Kelloo Bensa

This coffee grows at 1 900–2 150 masl around Shantawene village in Bensa, Sidama. Handled by Tariku Kare Exporters, it has earned multiple Africa Fine Coffee Association awards for its exceptional quality. Tariku offers training at the farm to help farmers achieve great quality coffee in order to incentivise the production of specialty, as well as giving local growers a platform to help them retail their products at the national level.

Sourced through Nordic Approach — an importer committed to traceable, flavour-driven lots. In partnership with Tariku Kare, they reinvest locally, offering 20 permanent jobs and seasonal work for about 600 residents, many of them women, and supporting community welfare projects.
