La Esmeralda

La Esmeralda is a 6.5-hectare farm located at 1550 masl, owned by Don Crispin Matias and his wife Margarita. Crispin named the farm after discovering beautiful emerald-like stones on the property. Growing up in the countryside, Crispin developed a lifelong passion for agriculture. He is now a proud member of ASIAST, a local coffee producers’ association.

Sourced by Primavera, an organization supporting over 200 Guatemalan farmers. Their sister company, La Central de Café, handles milling, bagging, and exporting, while their agronomy program empowers local producers in Huehuetenango.
